CULTURAL AND COMMUNITY LIFE IN ICAN
Under autorithy of Paris I.T. & Design Campus, the ICAN and ESGI co-developped a programm favorising student community, cultural and professional activities called Open ICAN.
Our school policy favors dynamic community life. It allows student to organize their
their passions in interest and work group dedicated to motivating thematics : Game Concept, « GraphiNoob », Anim Studio, Role playing game,
Journalism, « Infopromo », etc.
Because Open means « Opening, participation, Emulation and New », this initiative favors curiosity and real actions focused outside.
The « Open ICAN » program implies 4 axis : Integration, Creativity, Analysis, Networking. Using parisian dynamism in termes of creativity
and digital developpement, students are regularly invited to various conferences, demonstrations and exhibitions, as well as festivals and professional meetings,
rhythming digital culture actuality.
Our watch is performed through active networks :
- of cultural and artistic actors (City of Sciences, Images Forum, Main d’Œuvres, Confluences, Pompidou Center, the 104, the Gaité Lyrique, the Ménagerie de Verre, Atopic Festival, etc.) ;
- of scientifics (Digital World Observatory in Human Science, Serious Game Lab, College laboratories, Internet New Generation Foundation, etc.) ;
- of professionals through exhibitions, congress and conventions (Video games Festival, Intergraphic Paris, etc.).
Doing such, students open themselves and contiously constitute their network, essential to their success.
